AG announces arrest for alleged election law violations

(MONTGOMERY)?Attorney General Troy King announced the arrest today of a Vestavia Hills man for two alleged election law violations. Ricky Larkin Spina Sr., also known as Rick Spina, surrendered to the Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office today. The charges involve misrepresentations allegedly made by Spina regarding Jefferson County Commission candidate Jim Carns and alleged failure to file information about the political committee, Assembly of Republicans.
