Attorney General Gansler's Presidential Initiative Summit
About the Meeting
The Presidential Initiative Summit is the premier event of Attorney General Gansler’s year-long focus on Privacy in the Digital Age. The agenda will be replete with critical issues including: Cybersecurity: protecting critical infrastructure; Data collection and mining; Legislative initiatives on consumer Internet privacy; Kids and mobile phone privacy; public/private solutions to Internet privacy; Trade secrets, intellectual property and data breaches; and Government use of Internet data. Because of the National Harbor’s proximity to downtown Washington, speakers will include members of Congress and the executive branch, local business and government leaders and technology entrepreneurs, as well as Attorney General Gansler’s fellow attorneys general.
