Hedda Litwin, Project Counsel
NAAG’s Cyberspace Law Project, headed by Cyberspace Law Chief Counsel Hedda Litwin, works to provide assistance to the Offices of Attorneys General on issues involving technology and digital evidence. She facilitates communication among the Attorneys General and their staff and monitors legislative and regulatory developments on high tech issues. The Project supports three task forces led by Attorneys General on Internet safety, social media and online privacy, as well as working groups on specific cases. The Project writes and publishes a bi-monthly Cybercrime E-Newsletter, which includes information on Attorneys General initiatives to combat cybercrime as well as recent court decisions, a legislative update and new developments in cyber law. The Project has also compiled and published an internal Internet Safety Directory, which it updates and distributes to Attorneys General offices on a quarterly basis.
In addition, the Project provides training on electronic discovery, at both national conferences and to individual Offices of Attorneys General. The Project provides assistance to, and facilitates communication among, the Offices of Attorneys General and their staff on e-discovery issues and monitors the latest developments at both the state and federal level. The Project also publishes a monthly E-Discovery Bulletin containing recent caselaw, amended civil procedure rules and technology updates.
