Early Registration Discount Ends May 2 for NAAG Summer Meeting

Be sure to register online by May 2 at www.naag.org to attend the NAAG Summer Meeting to receive the discounted meeting rate. NAAG’s Summer Meeting is June 2 -5, in Mackinac Island, Mich., at the historic Grand Hotel and coastal resort. While NAAG has secured a hotel room rate for its meeting attendees, room availability as well as flight options could be limited after May 2.

The Attorney General Agenda Planning Committee is organizing another exceptional meeting. Confirmed speakers include Kevyn Orr, emergency manager for the City of Detroit and Mark Dantonio, head football coach, Michigan State University. The U.S. Supreme Court case update will take place during the Thursday lunch, and there will be sessions covering the transportation of oil and gas, state consumer education and awareness initiatives, and an ethics discussion on the “proper use of deception as an investigative method in civil and criminal investigations.” NAAG leadership elections will also take place. Wednesday night’s reception and dinner will be at Fort Mackinac, the great fortress on the bluff. Thursday evening, the meeting concludes with the annual NAAG state awards dinner, during which individuals who have made significant contributions to the AG community are honored.
