Energy and Environment
The training is designed for assistant attorneys general of varying experience, including those with less to more extensive years of experience. Part of the training will provide an overview and there will be an opportunity for attorneys to meet in a roundtable discussion and establish contacts and resources in the energy/environment arena.
The topics include:
- Oil and Gas Developments
- Renewable Energy
- Pipeline Siting Decisions
- Oil Pipeline Bursts
- Ballast Water Complications
Attorneys must also submit a brief paragraph (no more than 4-5 sentences) along with their application that describes their selected energy or environment topic to be discussed during the roundtable discussion, along with their perspective on a possible solution or technique to address the matter. before COB Thursday, March 13, 2014.
Scholarship assistance will be made available for each registered participant.
