NAAG Spring Consumer Protection
Monday, May 15 - Wednesday, May 17, 2017
The Spring Consumer Protection Seminar agenda promises to address pressing and relevant issues specific to your role in the Attorney General’s Office of Consumer Protection. While the agenda is still under development, it will most likely include sessions on targeting consumer outreach, class action update, a look inside a multi-state case, navigating the multi-state landscape, electronic evidence, the psyche of elder scams, and legal theories in a sharing economy. Federal agency briefings and presentations will also be included.
On Monday from noon until 7:00 p.m., the private sector is invited to attend the conference. The public portion of the agenda promises to address pressing and relevant issues in consumer protection. It will most likely include sessions on disruptive technologies, class action and CAFA, notices and disclaimers, social media marketing, and Spokeo.
