Virginia Attorney General and NAAG Southern Region Chair Mark Herring is hosting this year’s NAAG Southern Region Meeting in Charlottesville, Va. The meeting will take place Tuesday April 4- Wednesday April 5 at the Boar's Head. Boar's Head is a quintessential Virginia resort, only two hours from Washington, D.C., and at the foot of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.

As technologies have evolved, the legal approach of attorneys general has had to change. Often the technology moves faster than the law, regulations and the infrastructure. This conference will focus on the ways attorneys general can work with the law, industry and new technologies to keep pace with our fast moving economy, as well as keep our families safe. Topics will include how the gig economy may fit in state regulatory frameworks, new technologies for keeping children safe online, the issues and logistics of online education and best cyber security practices and partnerships in keeping our data secure.

We look forward to seeing you at our Southern Region Meeting!
