Danae Johnson joined the NAAG Center for Tobacco and Public Health in June 2015. Prior to joining NAAG, she held the position of co-president of the Anti-Tobacco Coalition at Johns Hopkins University. While at JHU she additionally aided in the development of a smoking ban committee, of which she became a member. She fostered her interest in tobacco and public health during her time spent at the Schroeder Institute for Tobacco Research and Policy Studies and the American Cancer Society. Graduating with honors, Danae received her undergraduate degree in public health with a minor in classics from Johns Hopkins University.
