National Association of Attorneys General
In late December 2017, Erin was named chief administrator for the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) and its National Attorneys General Training and Research Institute (NAGTRI). Prior to this appointment, Erin served seven years as the NAGTRI chief administrator, during which she oversaw the daily operations of all NAGTRI trainings including logistics, faculty and monitoring the budget.
Erin has over 17 years of experience in the hospitality and meetings industry. Most of this experience was gained in hotels in Washington, D.C. Erin held the position of senior meetings and special events manager at the Ritz Carlton, Washington, D.C. She was also a conference services manager/banquet manager at the Willard InterContinental Hotel. In this capacity, she worked with groups with high profile attendees such as high-level executives, delegations and heads-of-state. Her responsibilities included planning logistics for press conferences, dinners, VIP arrivals and departures, annual conferences, board meetings, hospitality and hotel accommodations. She also managed social functions such as weddings and bat mitzvahs. Erin started her hospitality career with the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill as an administrative assistant and quickly moved her way through the catering office and food and beverage outlets.
Erin has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from The College of New Jersey. She is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and Professional Convention Management Association, through which she became a certified meeting professional (CMP).
