Natalie is a NAAG Supreme Court fellow. She comes from the Kansas Attorney General’s Office, where she serves as an assistant solicitor general (ASG). She was hired for that position in November of 2011. As an ASG, her focus is on criminal appellate law in state appellate court, but she also handles some federal litigation involving state criminal cases.
After graduating from the University of Kansas School of Law, her law career began as a central staff research attorney for the Kansas Court of Appeals. She then focused on criminal appellate law as an assistant district attorney for the Shawnee County District Attorney’s Office before accepting her current position with the Office of the Kansas attorney general. Altogether, she has a decade of Kansas criminal appellate practice.
