2017 Attorney General Election in Virginia

The National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) offers nonpartisan 2017 voter information for the election of state attorneys general. This year, there was one attorney general election in Virginia on Nov. 7. There are also states in which the attorney general is appointed by the governor. New Jersey elected a new governor and he will appoint his attorney general in 2018 after taking office in January. 

Below is the Virginia attorney general election results (unofficial as of the morning of Nov. 8) with a link to the Virginia Department of Elections. This is a four-year AG term that will start in January 2018.
