2014 Attorneys General Election Results
The National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) offers nonpartisan 2014 election information about the races for state and territorial attorneys general. There were 13 open seats in the states, District of Columbia and Northern Mariana Islands.
In addition to the elections, some attorneys general are appointed by the governor or chosen by the state legislature (Maine) or state Supreme Court (Tennessee). Page 6 of our document lists the states and territories holding 2014 governor elections or another process that could impact the attorney general selection.
