Beau Biden Foundation Fellow to Work on Child Protection Issues
Shannon Signore, special assistant attorney general in the Rhode Island Attorney General’s Office, has been chosen to serve as the first Beau Biden Foundation fellow. For the next three months she will work on child protection issues in the Washington, D.C. office of the National Attorneys General Training and Research Institute (NAGTRI), a branch of the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG).

Anticorruption and Ethics Center for Government Attorneys Launched
The National Attorneys General Training and Research Institute (NAGTRI), a branch of the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG), has established the Center for Ethics and Public Integrity (CEPI). Its mission is to provide training, research, and technical assistance to government prosecutors involved in the fight against corruption, and to provide training and other resources on the ethical practice of law by government attorneys.

State Attorneys General Present at National Rx Drug Abuse & Heroin Summit
Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens and Wisconsin Attorney General Brad Schimel will lead a panel discussion on the importance of collaboration between state leaders and the medical community to reduce opioid abuse. Attorneys General Urge Quick Adoption of CDC Guidelines for Prescribing Pain Relievers
