NAAG will host its annual Summer Meeting in Mackinac Island, Mich.

WHO: The National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) will host its annual Summer Meeting in Mackinac Island, Mich.

WHAT: State attorneys general will convene with key staff, other government officials and corporate, association and academic representatives to discuss pressing environmental issues, assessing and improving the response to child sexual abuse, and identifying best practices for prescription drug monitoring programs. There will also be an update on this term�s U.S. Supreme Court cases and a review of open meetings and records laws.

NAAG will elect its new slate of officers for 2014-2015 and host its annual awards ceremony to recognize the work of those who contribute to the Office of the Attorney General and the Association. This includes NAAG�s most prestigious honor, the Kelley-Wyman Award, bestowed each year upon an attorney general who has done the most to achieve the Association�s objectives.

WHEN: Tuesday, June 3 through Thursday, June 5 until 2 p.m. Eastern.

First session begins at noon Eastern on Tuesday.
