The National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) offers nonpartisan 2014 election information for state and territorial attorneys general. There are 13 open seats in the states, District of Columbia and Northern Mariana Islands. In addition to the elections, some attorneys general are appointed by the governor or chosen by the state legislature (Maine) or state Supreme Court (Tennessee). Our document lists the states and territories holding 2014 governor elections or another process that impacts the attorney general selection.
