This advocacy program in intended to enhance the participants’ understanding of how to effectively and persuasively make use of exhibits at trial. The program will contain a mix of topic presentations, discussions and learn-by-doing workshops. The emphasis in the workshops will be on participant performance of laying a proper foundation to satisfy the legal requirements for admissibility and making persuasive use of the exhibit at trial. Performances will be followed by constructive faculty critiques. This basic program is intended for attorneys with minimal trial experience. This course is applicable to either civil or criminal law attorneys.
