NASCO 2011 Conference to Explore Emerging Charitable Regulatory Issues
There can be little doubt that technological advances have created new tools for charities to assist them in fund development and the delivery of services. But there are many questions that arise when technology and charity regulation issues intersect. What are charities' responsibilities in the use of new technology and how should regulators respond to protect the public and charitable organizations from fraud and deception?
Join the discussion of these and other significant emerging issues by planning to attend the National Association of Attorneys General/National Association of State Charity Officials' Annual Conference Oct. 3, 2011 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Silver Spring, MD -- just a short metro ride from downtown Washington D.C. This year’s theme will be Nonprofit Regulation in a Time of New Ideas.
For over 30 years our conferences have brought together regulators, watchdogs, state and federal charity officials, fundraisers and others interested in the latest developments and challenges facing the nonprofit sector. Be a part of the solutions to these challenges by attending and taking part this fall. We’ve attached a tentative agenda, so mark your calendars now. We look forward to seeing everyone in October.
