The National Attorneys General Training & Research Institute
Civil Rights Bulletin
The Civil Rights Bulletin is a periodic publication of the National Attorneys General Training and Research Institute (NAGTRI), a branch of the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG). It is a compendium of research materials and federal and state court decisions over previous months that may be of interest to attorneys general offices and others who work on affirmative and defensive civil rights matters. In particular, the Civil Rights Bulletin is geared towards practitioners who routinely work on such matters in their offices or monitor the landscape of civil rights cases within their respective jurisdiction or nationally, including areas such as, affirmative and defensive litigation involving discriminatory practices against protected classes, Section 42 U.S.C. Section 1983 claims, and emerging legal issues involving allegations of civil rights violations. Materials provided in the newsletter may be helpful to both new and experienced legal practitioners. The editor is NAGTRI Program Counsel Jeanette Manning, email@example.com.
This publication is currently on a temporary break. Please check shortly for an updated compilation of case updates, legislative action, and/or items concerning the myriad of issues of interest to those involved with civil rights.
