This course will explore the causes and indicators of corruption as well as best practices in the investigation of corruption. Issues that will be discussed are working and coordinating with federal authorities, effective use of grand juries, and working well with investigators. The course will also discuss the use of such prosecutorial tools as the detection of money laundering, the use of RICO statutes, utilizing independent monitors, and asset forfeiture. Presentations will feature faculty that include state attorneys general, assistant attorneys general, federal authorities, and some of the foremost academic authorities on issues involving corruption. A draft agenda is forthcoming.

Fee Requirements
Scholarships are available for the course; they will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additional registrants are welcome, but funding will not be available.
