Registration Open for Presidential Initiative Summit in September

Join us for NAAG President J.B. Van Hollen’s Presidential Initiative Summit being held Sept. 16 – 18, in Milwaukee, Wis. The theme is “America’s Promise – Keeping Our Kids Safe” and online registration is now available.

“In September, we’ll welcome attorneys general and others from across the country to study the many dangers children face, how we can protect them from these dangers and how we can hold offenders accountable,” Attorney General Van Hollen said.

Guest speakers will include National Baseball Hall of Fame Member Cal Ripken, Jr., John Ryan, chief executive officer, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and Victor Vieth, executive director, National Child Protection Training Center. Adverse childhood experiences, successful strategies for addressing school violence, public/private partnerships, current issues in drug abuse, sex trafficking, and working with child victims and witnesses are the topic areas to be covered.

Attendees will have a major league social outing on Tuesday night by going to a baseball game between the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs.
