Spring Meeting Media Advisory: Attorneys General to Convene in Washington, D.C. to Discuss State-Federal Efforts

WHO:

The National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) will host its annual Spring Meeting in Washington, D.C. The theme of this year’s conference is “Opportunities and Challenges in State-Federal Relationships.”

WHAT:

Forty-nine state and territorial Attorneys General, their staff, federal officials, and corporate and association representatives will convene to discuss a variety of legal issues including intellectual property (campus piracy), consumer protection, computer forensics, and counterfeit and pirated items distributed over the Internet. There will also be an overview of this term’s U.S. Supreme Court cases.

Monday, March 5 through Wednesday morning, March 7

First session begins at noon on Monday Reporters interested in covering the meeting must e-mail mtharp@naag.org. Registration is closed for all other attendees.
