Marjorie joined NAAG in December 2008. As director of communications, she coordinates media-related and public information activities, oversees production of publications, and provides communications consultation and support to the public information officers (PIOs) in the Attorneys General offices.
Marjorie has more than 20 years of experience in public affairs, communications and marketing. She was vice president of marketing for Mdlogix, where she oversaw market development efforts and company promotion. Marjorie also directed the Washington, DC public affairs programs of the American Academy of Pediatrics where she developed and executed communications strategies for such issues as pediatric research and health care reform. In that capacity, she also lobbied the federal government on the media and its impact on child health. She started her communications career with the American Heart Association.
Marjorie has a bachelorís degree in journalism with a minor in business from the University of Maryland. She is a member of the National Press Club and American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
