What is Sexting?
- Kids sending photos of themselves to a known recipient.
- The pictures kids are sending may be of them nude or of a sexual content. .
- Teens don’t think long-term; once you send a picture to someone it’s out there forever.
- Certain web sites allow people to use all of the sites functions via cell phone, for example e-mail and instant messaging.
- Cell phones have all the technology of today, but with no controls. These phones are computers that can fit in your pocket.
- When kids have a cell phone, they have more than a phone…they have a camera, ability to text, access to the Internet, and predators know that.
