The Financial Services and Consumer Protection Enforcement, Education, and Training Fund Committee is responsible for evaluating grant requests and disseminating grant funds received from the National Mortgage Settlement, and funds from other settlements, for the benefit of attorney general offices.

These funds can be used for: 

  • Expenses and training relating to the investigation and prosecution of cases involving fraud, unfair and deceptive acts and practices, and other illegal conduct related to financial services or state consumer protection laws.  

Committee members are appointed by the NAAG president and approved by the NAAG Executive Committee.
