Overview
This course on collaborating with the U.S. FDA includes a general overview of the regulation of dietary supplements under the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act followed by an introduction to FDA’s Office of Dietary Supplement Programs.
This course is a part of the NAGTRI Center for Consumer Protection Partners Series, and is hosted in collaboration with the U.S. FDA.

- Define dietary supplement.
- List the regulatory responsibilities of the FDA.
- Articulate the rules and processes related to new dietary ingredients.
- Discuss the requirements for food labeling, including investigating false claims.
