This course on responding to charities embezzlers addresses how bad things happen to good people: areas of risk, the scope of the problem, and how fiduciaries and government regulators should respond to the risks and embezzlement events. The presentation addresses specific examples of recent embezzlements, investigative techniques, the protection of charitable assets and reputations, public disclosure and reporting, and advocacy and advice for charities in insurance claims and sentencing.

This course was created by the NAGTRI Center for Consumer Protection.
