This course on resilience and mindfulness is the third part in the NAGTRI Summer Wellness Series, hosted by the NAGTRI Center for Leadership Development.

Life is full of unknowns – many of which you experience in the workplace. Whether it’s an unexpected deadline or dealing with new and complex situations, these challenges can affect your daily life. Resilience and mindfulness are two powerful tools that you can use to process and overcome these challenges. This course covers how to harness resilience and mindfulness so you can prevail in the face of life’s unknowns.

Learning Objectives

  • Develop a deeper understanding to the history and science of mindfulness.
  • Be able to identify the benefits of mindfulness.
  • Practice simple mindfulness techniques.
  • Learn about the importance of resilience.
  • Evaluate how resilient you are as well as identify how you can become more resilient.
