DESCRIPTION:March 16\, 2023 \nThis training is a closed session for NAMFCU members only.  \n\nWebinar: Dark Practices and UDAP 2.0: Addressing Online Unfair and Deceptive Practices\n\n\nThis webinar is hosted as part of NAAG President and Iowa Attorney General Tom Miller’s Presidential Initiative\, “Consumer Protection 2.0: Tech Threats and Tools.” It is a sequel to NAAG’s April 15\, 2021 webinar: “Dark Patterns and UDAP: Addressing Online Unfair and Deceptive Practices.” This follow-up session will involve a deeper dive in the examination of these deceptive and unfair tactics from a panel of experts and practitioners. The panel will further explore tactics being utilized and their impacts on consumers\, discuss recent litigation and initiatives to combat such practices\, and offer tips for effectively investigating and addressing these practices. \n\n\n\n\n\nThose new to this topic are also encouraged to attend. We recommend viewing the initial webinar prior to participating in this program.
