The Office of the Attorney General is seeking applicants to serve as an Assistant Attorney General at the Maryland Department of Health (MDH). The Assistant Attorney General will litigate on behalf of the Office of Health Care Quality – the MDH unit that licenses health care facilities and providers and enforces the statutes and regulations applicable to those facilities and providers.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience, excellent research and writing skills, and experience with government law, administrative law, and litigation. Admission to the Maryland Bar is required. The ability to handle independently all phases of litigation is highly desirable. A background in health law or experience representing a regulatory agency is helpful.
