The DAG will serve as general counsel to the Associate Secretary for Student Support and the Associate Secretary for Workforce Support.

Attorneys in the Civil Division enjoy a 37.5 hour work week with true work/life balance including: a hybrid work environment, no billable hours, generous paid time off, affordable benefits plans, free trainings and CLE, 12 weeks paid parental leave, exclusive public service student loan forgiveness programs, pension eligibility, and a supportive collaborative work environment

Responsibilities

Duties will include supporting the Adult and Prison Education work group, the School Support Services work group, the Nutrition Programs work group, the Title Programs & Grant Support work group, the Driver’s Education work group, the Licensure and Certification work group, the Educator Excellence work group, the Delaware Higher Education Office, and the Career Technical Education work group.  This position may be located in either Kent or New Castle County with regular travel to the DOE’s Kent County office.
