Ari Telisman serves as director for the NAGTRI Center for Legal Advocacy and Faculty Development. His duties include overseeing NAGTRI's legal skills training, developing and enhancing skills courses, and engaging in faculty recruitment and development. Previously, Mr. Telisman served as senior litigation counsel for the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission, an assistant attorney general in Illinois, and a prosecutor in Indiana and Florida. He has tried nearly 100 cases involving a wide variety of crimes, as well as many civil trials. Mr. Telisman serves as a faculty instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. He is also an adjunct professor, having taught courses on trial advocacy and legal ethics at Loyola University Chicago School of Law and Chicago-Kent College of Law. Mr. Telisman received his JD from the Florida State University College of Law and his BS from Carnegie Mellon University.
