Emily Myers

As antitrust counsel, Emily Myers assists states in their multistate activities. Those activities include litigation, competition advocacy in both federal and state courts and before federal and state administrative agencies and cooperation with the federal antitrust agencies. She also provides information on congressional and federal agency hearings of interest to the attorneys general. She maintains the NAAG Multistate Litigation Database, a comprehensive database of state antitrust cases since 1990. She is also the author of chapters on state antitrust enforcement in American Bar Association and state bar publications.

Emily also focuses on attorney general powers and duties and provides assistance to attorney general offices as they consider these issues. She is editor of the Fourth Edition of "State Attorneys General Powers and Responsibilities," (2019) and the author of several chapters in the book.

A native of Washington, D.C., Emily received her Bachelor of Arts in history from Brown University and her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was an Arthur B. Littleton Legal Writing Fellow. She worked as an antitrust attorney in private practice in Washington until joining NAAG in 1993.
