Marissa Walker joined NAAG in April 2019 as program counsel for NAGTRI’s Center for Ethics and Public Integrity (CEPI), specifically focused on supporting anticorruption efforts of state attorneys general offices. Prior to joining NAAG, Marissa worked in private practice in the areas of securities defense litigation and white-collar criminal defense. Marissa clerked for the Honorable David O. Carter in the Central District of California. Prior to clerking, she received her law degree from Cornell Law School, where she graduated in the top ten percent of her class and served as a Note Editor of the Cornell Law Review. Marissa received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the College of William & Mary, where she majored in philosophy and linguistics.
Marissa resides in Takoma Park, Maryland, with her husband, three young children, and one dog.
