Ryan Greenstein was named special assistant to the executive director in February 2018. Ryan currently manages NAAG’s sign-on letters, assists with the NAGTRI Center for Leadership and Development’s management reviews, and provides support to the executive and deputy executive directors. Prior to being promoted, Ryan served as a NAGTRI program specialist, coordinating NAGTRI programs in over 20 states. Prior to NAAG, Ryan worked for the National PREA Resource Center and previously interned at the U.S. House of Representatives and the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Legislative Affairs
Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD along with a minor in global terrorism studies and a second minor in international development and conflict management. While at the University of Maryland, Ryan was awarded the Alumni Association Scholarship, spent a semester in Istanbul, Turkey, and completed an educational program in Marrakech, Morocco with a full scholarship from the U.S. Department of State. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Ryan currently resides in Washington, D.C.
