The National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) offers nonpartisan 2019 election information about the races for attorney general in the states and territories. There are 2 open seats – meaning a new attorney general will be elected in those states.

In addition to the elections, some attorneys general are appointed by the governor, chosen by the state legislature (Maine) or selected by the state Supreme Court (Tennessee).
