Media Advisory: Summer Meeting Planned for Attorneys General

NAAG will elect its new slate of officers for 2012-2013 and host its annual awards ceremony to recognize the work of those who contribute to the Office of the Attorney General and the Association. This includes NAAG’s most prestigious honor, the Kelley-Wyman Award, bestowed each year upon an Attorney General who has done the most to achieve the Association’s objectives.


The National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) will hold its Summer Meeting in Anchorage, Alaska. State Attorneys General, key staff, and federal government, corporate and association representatives will convene to discuss a variety of legal issues. Alaska Governor Sean Parnell will provide welcoming remarks.


Session topics include a U.S. Supreme Court case update, the future of tobacco control, privacy in online gaming, hydraulic fracturing and human trafficking.
