William J. Wynhoff graduated from Stanford University Law School in 1979. He worked in private practice in Honolulu, Hawaii until 2001. His practice focused on complex real estate and commercial litigation. He joined the Department of Attorney General, State of Hawaii in 2001. From 2001 to 2013 he represented the Department of Land and Natural Resources. In addition, he handled complex dispute resoulution matters for all State agencies and departments, especially resource protection, environmental, and constiutional litigation in state, federal, and administrative forums.
Bill is now the supervising deputy for the Land/Transportation Division. Under his guidance, the division represents both the Department of Land and Natural Resources and the Department of Transportation. The latter includes airports, harbors, and highways.
