NAGTRI National E-Discovery Negotiation Skills Training
E-Discovery Negotiations is a skills-based course focusing on enhancing the abilities needed to effectively negotiate discovery issues with opposing counsel to advance the interest of the attorneys' clients. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in mock Rule 26(f) meet-and-confer conferences and a mock Rule 16(b)case management conference under the guidance of experienced practitioners. Lectures and discussions on topics relevant to the negotiations will supplement participant performances. Participant attendance will be limited to ensure a high instructor-participant ratio and maximum opportunity to participate in mock exercises.
This course is open to participants from attorney general offices with a minimum of one year of experience in handling cases involving electronic discovery; it is an intermediate course.
