Fundamental Principles of Managerial Leadership, Part 1
This webinar is the first in a series of webinars that will address core leadership competencies in the context of the offices of attorneys general.
The webinars will offer managers, supervisors, and team leaders the opportunity to learn principles, practices and behaviors to enhance their effectiveness. Content focusing on general topics of leadership development can be beneficial to everyone in the workplace. Attendees can expect instructor presentation along with short reflective exercises and facilitated analysis of relevant workplace scenarios to which principles discussed will be applied. Handouts and reference papers will be made available for review prior to the webinar.
The first webinar in the core leadership competencies series focuses on goal setting; understanding and fulfilling roles and accountabilities in the office; specific challenges in transitioning to management positions in offices of attorneys general; and the importance of recognizing and using alternative leadership styles.
