NAGTRI Webinar: Bitcoin 201: Advanced Blockchain Forensics and Tracing
This webinar is designed to help attorneys and investigators follow the money and understand cryptocurrency forensics with advanced bitcoin tracing. It will explain how to identify and understand criminal elements on the blockchain, including dark markets, dark vendors, mixers, tumblers, malware and ransomware. Included will be examples of tracing dark market drug and ransomware transactions, as well as what money laundering looks like in an advanced crypto forensics tool. The webinar will also address how gambling sites and bitcoin ATMs present money laundering risks. Finally, it will address cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets and how the jurisdiction of the custodians is determined.
