NAAG has hired Theresia Heller as the Association’s Finance Director/Controller. Theresia was born in Germany and completed her undergraduate and master’s degrees in strategic management at Catholic University in Germany. She studied as a Fulbright Scholar at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and obtained an MBA in finance and international business from the University of Maryland. She worked for a local credit union for several years and then began a lengthy tenure with Chevy Chase Bank in Bethesda, where she held a variety of positions, most recently as vice president and division controller in the Commercial and Real Estate Division. She has significant expertise in financial analysis and accounting, budget and cost management, and corporate financial planning.
William Malloy is NAAG’s new project assistant for the Criminal Law and Legislation projects. William is a graduate of the University of Scranton, where he double majored in political science and international relations. While at Scranton, he was a member of the Special Jesuit Liberal Arts Society and spent a summer in Paris at the Sorbonne. William has also worked as an intern for U.S. Senator Arlen Specter (R-PA) and as a legal intern with the Philadelphia law firm Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman and Goggin.
Dan Ngo has joined the NAAG staff as a project assistant/paralegal for the Tobacco project. Dan is a recent graduate of UCLA, where he majored in political science. He is a former intern with the Department of Transportation in the Office of the Secretary and he also interned in the district office of California Assemblyman George Nakano. His most recent internship was with the L.A. County Superior Court Self-Help Center.
Kim Sebold has joined the NAAG staff full time as a senior accountant. Kim has an extensive background in non-profit administration, finance and human resource management. She was previously employed as the treasurer/personnel director for the Kirov Academy of Ballet and as the assistant treasurer with the Korean Cultural & Freedom Foundation.
