April NAAG Summit Tackles Digital Issues

There is a lot to discuss and address in the digital world with each massive consumer data breach, website hijackers, and illegal online pharmaceutical sales.

If digital issues are important to your attorney general office, firm, company or organization, plan on joining NAAG President and Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood at the NAAG Presidential Initiative Summit, April 12-14, in Biloxi, Miss. The theme is "Protecting Our Digital Lives: New Challenges for Attorneys General."

Attendees will explore the promise and challenges of 3D printing, law enforcement collaboration in the cloud, illegal online gaming, how the web is used to facilitate intellectual property theft, issues regarding digital currency, state efforts involving reining in patent trolls, illegal online pharmaceutical sales and website hijackers.

Socially, the meeting will also be an opportunity to experience the Mississippi Gulf Coast with its beach and water views, music, and down home cooking. Attendees will savor delicious BBQ and take in the blues scene the first evening at The Shed where Attorney General Hood will host a NAAG reception and dinner with entertainment.
