Update on the 2020 IF Program
Regrettably, due to the ongoing international health crisis amid the COVID-19 pandemic, NAGTRI made the difficult decision to postpone the 2020 IF program until next year. This decision came after careful consideration given the current global environment and deepening crisis. We did not make this decision lightly, but the safety of our Fellows and NAGTRI staff is of vital importance. Instead, the original incoming class of 2020 International Fellows will participate in May or June 2021. We look forward to meeting the 2021 class and discussing important domestic and sexual violence issues at length next year. Even though we are unable to host the Fellows this year, NAGTRI is still highlighting the program’s 10th year anniversary—as you will see below.
Although NAGTRI is disappointed that the program had to be postponed, we know that you will continue to keep in touch and work on such important issues combatting all types of transnational and domestic crimes and public safety issues in your respective nations. We thank you for your hard work and steadfastness to make the world a safer and better place. Please be sure to keep in touch with each other and us, and do not hesitate to let us know how we may be able to assist you in your work, whether via webinars or other online learning mechanisms.
