NAAG Projects
Antitrust
Emily Myers, Project Counsel
NAAG's Antitrust Project works to facilitate communication among the Offices of Attorneys General and their staff, and monitors legislative and regulatory developments in antitrust. The Project hosts an annual seminar for Attorneys General and their staff and a portion of it is open to the public.
Executive Working Group for Antitrust
The Attorneys General on the Antitrust Committee, the chair of the Federal Trade Commission, and the Assistant Attorney General in charge of the Antitrust Division at the U.S. Department of Justice comprise the Executive Working Group for Antitrust, which meets periodically to discuss federal/state cooperation and areas of common interest, including litigation and legislative or policy proposals.
NAAG Multistate Task Force
The Antitrust Project also supports the work of NAAG's Multistate Antitrust Task Force. The Task Force is chaired by Kathleen Foote, senior assistant attorney general and antitrust chief in the California Attorney General’s Office. The Task Force coordinates multistate antitrust litigation.
