The webinar is designed to give charity regulators a better understanding of some of the complexities of nonprofits’ financial reports, the tools regulators need, and the questions to ask when review is necessary to confirm compliance with the laws regulators enforce.

Candice Meth is the National Leader of the Not-for-Profit Services Practice of the EisnerAmper accounting firm and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Jonathan Lester is an Assistant Attorney General in the New York Attorney General’s Charities Bureau. In their work, both are charged with reviewing the finances of nonprofits. Together they will discuss their roles in such review, Candice from her position as an advisor to her clients and Jonathan from his role in reviewing nonprofits’ financial reports to assess their compliance with New York and federal filing requirements.
