This session will explore the ethical considerations that arise when balancing the needs and interests of victims with the prosecutor’s duty of impartiality, fairness, and justice. It will also examine strategies for preparing and supporting victims before and during trial, minimizing unnecessary trauma, and presenting evidence in a manner that safeguards victims while preserving the integrity of the judicial process.
