A bipartisan coalition of 49 state and territory attorneys general submitted comments to the FCC supporting stronger Know Your Upstream Provider (KYUP) requirements to help prevent illegal robocalls. The coalition recommends enhanced provider vetting, ongoing monitoring, stronger caller ID authentication safeguards, and tougher enforcement measures to protect consumers from fraud.
