Phil Weiser is serving his second term as Colorado’s Attorney General. Since he was first elected in 2019, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to promoting justice for all.

Protecting consumers is one of Attorney General Weiser’s key priorities—cracking down on scams, as well as unfair and deceptive business practices. Holding drug manufacturers and distributors accountable for their roles in creating and fueling the opioid crisis is a hallmark of his work, including securing over $880 million in settlement funds for treatment, recovery, and prevention education programs for Colorado alone.

Attorney General Weiser is leading a bipartisan, multistate lawsuit against Meta and investigating TikTok for their impact on children’s well-being. He also sued Juul Labs and worked with a group of attorneys general to secure $462 million for vaping cessation, prevention, and youth mental health programs. A stalwart defender of equality, he champions reproductive rights, LGBTQ rights, and the freedom to vote in state and federal courts.

His commitment to protecting Colorado’s land, air, and water has led to several actions, including leading efforts to secure millions in settlement funds for natural resource damages.

Before being elected, Attorney General Weiser was the dean of the University of Colorado Law School. He also served as a law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Justices Byron R. White and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and held senior positions in the U.S. Department of Justice in the Clinton and Obama administrations.
