
Join the nation’s Attorneys General and senior leadership for the 2026 Attorney General Assembly, a premier gathering designed to strengthen leadership, foster collaboration, and advance the critical work of state and territorial justice systems. Held December 8–10 in Miami, this dynamic program brings together newly elected and experienced Attorneys General, chief deputies, and key staff for a comprehensive mix of orientation, policy discussion, and strategic exchange.
Through engaging sessions on governance, ethics, multistate enforcement, and emerging legal priorities, participants will gain practical insights into managing complex offices, navigating intergovernmental relationships, and upholding public trust. The program also highlights the vital role of collaboration across jurisdictions, offering opportunities to share perspectives, build partnerships, and leverage collective expertise.
From interactive discussions and expert-led panels to networking events and keynote programming, the Attorney General Assembly equips leaders with the tools, connections, and vision needed to effectively serve their states and strengthen the rule of law nationwide.
This event is open to attorneys general and attorneys general office staff members only.

- New Attorney General, Chief Deputy/Chief of Staff Orientation
- Travel day in for all other Attorneys General and staff
- Dinner for Attorneys General and Incoming Attorneys General (and spouse/family member)
Wednesday, December 9
- Caucus meetings, Business Session, Executive Committee/Mission Foundation meeting, Awards lunch & Gavel pass, Plenary sessions, evening event for all attendees
Thursday, December 10
- Plenary sessions (including Ethics), ending at Noon
- Travel Home
