This CLE course provides an in-depth examination of the rising prevalence of internet crimes against children, including child sexual exploitation and online enticement. Participants will gain insights from a diverse panel of experts, including law enforcement officials, victim specialists, and prosecutors, who will share their experiences and strategies for addressing these complex issues. The course will cover the psychological impacts on victims, the importance of trauma-informed approaches, and effective communication techniques for engaging with both victims and their families. Additionally, attendees will learn about available resources for prevention and intervention, equipping them with the knowledge to better protect children in their communities. This course is designed for legal professionals, law enforcement, and anyone involved in the fight against child exploitation.
